  1. how sweet of you to spread the joy — wishing you much health and happiness on this new journey–which I assure you will be an adventure everyday–some of the adventures will be wonderful, a few will be sad, some will be maddening, but in the end, it will be worthwhile–I speak from 31 years of being married

  2. Marriage, If you want something to last forever, you treat it differently. You shield it and protect it. You never abuse it. You don’t expose it to the elements. You don’t make it common or ordinary. If it ever becomes tarnished, you lovingly polish it until it gleams like new. It becomes special because you have made it so, and it grows more beautiful and precious as time goes by…..

  3. Wishing you many years of happiness. My advice: pick your battles. your not going to win every one so sometimes you have to just decide if its really worth the fight, and if not just let it go.

  4. How sweet of you! Thanks for sharing. I would love this, my boyfriend and I just celebrated 5 years together but after moving earlier this year we weren’t really able to get each other much. This would be a nice little treat for both of us. I don’t have too much advice. I know this past year we’ve had some troubles financially and emotionally with the move. It’s helped to remind myself at times that I’m more upset with the situation than I am with him. It’s important not to take out my frustrations on him, I love him. Sometimes its important to remind ourselves whats really troubling us. Congrats, I wish you a long and happy marriage.
